Qualifications:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree Active Oregon Physical Therapy license or ability to obtain licensure Current CPR certification Minimum of 2 years of pediatric and/or orthopedic/sports experience Combination of clinical, athletic training, or coaching experience considered
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents Treat pediatric orthopedic conditions and sports-related injuries, including return-to-play progression Provide hands-on, one-on-one therapy focused on long-term functional outcomes Collaborate with families, coaches, and healthcare providers to support patient success Utilize evidence-based rehabilitation and sport-specific treatment strategies Monitor patient progress and adjust plans of care as needed Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinic culture
Skills:
Strong pediatric orthopedic and sports rehabilitation knowledge Excellent clinical reasoning and treatment planning abilities Ability to build trust and rapport with children, families, and athletes Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment Functional Testing and experience with VALD preferred.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday:
10:30 AM - 7:00 PM/ Friday 9:30 AM -6:00 PM during the school year Modified schedule during summer and school breaks This position can be
PART-TIME
in the afternoon hours.
