Qualifications:
Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy Active Oregon Physical Therapist license Current CPR certification 5+ years of pediatric physical therapy experience Experience treating infants, toddlers, and pediatric orthopedic patients Outpatient pediatric or private practice experience preferred Familiarity with Stride EMR or similar systems is a plus
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations for infants, toddlers, and pediatric orthopedic patients Develop and implement individualized evidence-based treatment plans Provide skilled hands-on therapy to improve mobility, coordination, strength, and functional skills Deliver high-quality one-on-one care with a focus on family education and home programming Collaborate with caregivers and healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Stay current with evidence-based pediatric physical therapy practices Mentor and support newer therapists and team members Assist in the development of infant/toddler and pediatric orthopedic programs Participate in community outreach and relationship-building initiatives Contribute to educational resources and practice growth efforts
Skills:
Advanced pediatric clinical reasoning and treatment skills Strong understanding of infant/toddler development and pediatric orthopedic rehabilitation Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Passion for working with children and supporting families Empathy, patience, adaptability, and professionalism in a pediatric setting Leadership mindset with interest in mentorship and program support
