Job Summary:
Job Description We are seeking a Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support rehabilitation services within our Skilled Nursing Facility. The PTA provides hands-on therapeutic care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following treatment plans to help patients regain function, mobility, and independence. This role supports residents receiving long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, and post-acute recovery in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Job Requirements Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (ASPT) Active PTA license in good standing in the State of Oregon One year of post-acute or related experience preferred CPR certification upon hire (must remain current) Competence in professional communication and clinical documentation Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email Understanding of therapy regulations, facility standards, and patient-centered care Employer is an Equal Opportunity Employer Employer Notes Qualified candidates will possess the following: Must be able to participate in community health projects as needed Must be able to collaborate with patients, families, and support departments Must be able to use proper body mechanics at all times Must be able to make independent decisions when appropriate Must be able to interpret departmental goals, programs, and procedures Must be able to perform all competency-related tasks (patient rights, safety, sanitation) Must be able to maintain confidentiality and follow all facility policies Must be able to follow PT treatment plans and adjust care under PT supervision Must be able to chart accurately and use therapy software appropriately Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently throughout the workday Must be able to assist with patient evacuation if needed Hours Full-Time Day Shift Pay
Hourly Range:
$37.00 - $42.00
