Job Summary:
Job Description We are seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our interdisciplinary therapy team. As part of our Skilled Nursing Facility, the PT provides direct rehabilitation services to patients referred for physical therapy, supporting long-term care residents and short-term rehabilitation patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. The PT evaluates mobility and functional needs, develops treatment plans, sets measurable goals, and works collaboratively with nursing, therapy, and medical staff to improve patients' quality of life in a supportive, patient-centered environment. Job Requirements Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT; 2003+ requires MSPT or DPT) Active physical therapy license in good standing in the State of Oregon One year of post-acute or related clinical experience preferred CPR certification upon hire (must remain current) Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email Strong professional communication and documentation skills Ability to follow therapy plans, regulatory rules, and facility standards Employer is an Equal Opportunity Employer Employer Notes Qualified candidates will possess the following: Must be able to participate in community health initiatives as appropriate Must be able to maintain professional working relationships with staff, patients, and external partners Must be able to use good body mechanics at all times Must be able to make independent decisions when necessary Must be able to interpret departmental programs, policies, goals, and procedures Must be able to perform all competency-related tasks including patient rights and safety/sanitation Must be able to maintain confidentiality and comply with all company policies Must be able to follow therapy plans, set/modify goals, and oversee PTAs and students Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during work hours Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English Hours Full-Time Day Shift Pay
Hourly Range:
$45.00 - $55.00 depending on experience
