Job Description

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Hood River, OR, working in an outpatient setting where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. and we'll connect you with a recruiter who'll reach out with more details. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Oregon Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience with outpatient orthopedic caseloads preferred. Client prefers 2 years outpatient ortho experience but will consider candidates with less experience. Experience using the Prompt EMR preferred. Ability to manage a daily schedule of approximately 10 patients with 45-minute appointment slots. Preferred Qualifications Two years of outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. Experience working with PT aides/techs to assist with patient transitions.
Assignment Details Schedule:
Flexible Monday-Friday, either 5x8s or 4x10s. 45-minute patient appointments.
Typical patient load:
approximately 10 patients per day.
Clinic staffing:
currently 2 full-time PTs and 2 part-time PTs; PT aides/techs support patient transitions. Clinic attempts to cap at 2 evaluations per day; when additional evaluations occur, a 45-minute block may be used for documentation catch-up.
