We're partnering with a school district in Clackamas County, Oregon to hire a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a part-time, on-site need (approximately 20 hours/week) and the district is open to contract support. In this role, you'll provide school-based physical therapy services to help students with physical disabilities and motor/mobility challenges safely access and participate in their educational environment.

Responsibilities :

Conduct physical/functional evaluations to assess students' motor abilities, strength, posture, and mobility needs in the school setting Develop therapy plans aligned to student goals (IEP/504) with measurable outcomes Provide direct therapy to support gross motor development, balance, coordination, and functional mobility Teach safe mobility and access skills (e.g., transfers, navigating campus spaces, use of assistive devices as applicable) Recommend environmental/adaptive supports to improve access and safety in school routines and settings Document progress and collaborate with school teams and families to support student success

Qualifications :

Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) (active license or ability to obtain licensure for the work location) Experience working with pediatric/school-aged students (preferred) Knowledge of school-based services and collaboration within IEP/504 teams (preferred) Strong communication skills and comfort partnering with educators, related service providers, and families Ability to work on-site and maintain timely documentation/progress reporting
