Home Health PTA - $5k SIGN ON BONUS

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, and home health environments. Your expertise in physiotherapy and knowledge of anatomy and physiology will be essential in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Duties Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. Provide hands-on patient care, including administering therapeutic exercises and modalities. Utilize trigger point therapy techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility. Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercises to enhance recovery. Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records using appropriate terminology. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective discharge planning. Participate in the development of care plans tailored to the needs of diverse populations, including geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and acute care patients. Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust interventions as necessary under the guidance of a supervising therapist. Qualifications Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Experience in skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health settings is preferred. Familiarity with discharge planning processes and care plan development. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
