Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist working with K-12 students for the upcoming school year. This position offers a 32-hour workweek across four days, giving you ample time to focus on both professional responsibilities and personal balance. The assignment runs from August 26 to June 27, encompassing a 190-day contract with ample chances to impact students' developmental and academic journeys.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong communication and time-management skills Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Core Responsibilities:
Evaluate and provide therapy for students with a range of physical needs across K-12 Develop, implement, and track individualized therapy plans based on student goals Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical insights for student programming Consult with educators and staff to ensure students' physical needs are accommodated within classroom settings Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting in accordance with school and regulatory requirements This role offers weekly pay as well as a comprehensive suite of insurance options, including medical, dental, vision, and life coverage.
