Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Physical Therapist with a passion for helping K-12 students achieve greater mobility and independence. This contract position is ideal for professionals eager to contribute their expertise in an onsite, school-based environment during the Extended School Year (ESY) session. The schedule offers a balanced workload of 14 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, from June 22 to July 30, 2026.
What you need to bring:
Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution Active Physical Therapy license in Pennsylvania Previous experience with school-based physical therapy (preferred) Ability to work with students across K-12, adapting interventions to varied age groups and abilities Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills What you'll do: Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to students on an onsite K-12 caseload during ESY Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each student's unique needs Employ evidence-based techniques to maximize students' mobility, function, and participation in school activities Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to ensure comprehensive support Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to school and legal requirements This role offers highly competitive compensation, paid weekly for your convenience.
