Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role this summer as a school-based Physical Therapist, working part-time with an enthusiastic group of students. Qualifications and Skills:
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Understanding of IEPs and familiarity with school therapy documentation Strong communication skills for collaboration with faculty and families Enthusiasm for working with children of varying ability levels
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students Deliver direct physical therapy services to children within the school environment Monitor and document student progress, updating goals and strategies as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support each student's needs Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional input to optimize student care
