Physical Therapist

We are seeking a passionate Physical Therapist to work with school-age students in specialized classrooms in Broomall, PA for 4 (half days)/week Monday-Thursday for the Extended School Year (ESY) session, beginning 7/6/26 and into the 26-27 school year! Opportunities are also available to work with preschool students in nearby locations to create a full schedule. Incentives available!  A Physical Therapist (PT) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving student mobility, physical function, and participation in the educational environment through direct therapy and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct physical therapy services to assigned students (PreK-12) Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success Complete required documentation , including: Progress notes Data collection IEP updates and annual reviews Participate in IEP meetings as needed Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Passion for working with children
