Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized physical therapy services in a school setting, supporting the development and well-being of students. The role involves delivering targeted physical therapy sessions totaling 90 minutes per week, which can be divided into shorter segments to accommodate scheduling flexibility. The goal is to enhance students' physical capabilities and support their educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy to students as per individual plans and needs. Conduct sessions totaling 90 minutes weekly, with flexibility to split the time as required. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all therapy sessions and progress. Participate in Contract School Year (CSY), Extended School Year (ESY), and potentially Non-School Year (NSY) programs to ensure continuity of care. Collaborate with educational and support staff to integrate therapy goals with students' overall educational plans.
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based therapy. Ability to adapt scheduling to meet student needs and accommodate missed sessions. Strong communication skills to coordinate with educators, families, and therapists. Commitment to maintaining detailed documentation and compliance with program requirements.
