This Physical Therapist opportunity is based in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, a welcoming suburban community just outside of Philadelphia. The area offers a calm, residential feel with easy access to the amenities of a major metropolitan area. Huntingdon Valley residents enjoy nearby green spaces such as Lorimer Park and the Pennypack Trail, which offer miles of paths for walking, running, and biking, as well as peaceful wooded areas and streams. The community features local dining, family-friendly neighborhoods, and convenient access to regional shopping, cultural attractions, and sports venues in the greater Philadelphia area. The clinic is an outpatient physical therapy setting focused on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. Patients are seen for a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, work-related injuries, and chronic pain. The environment is designed to be bright, modern, and well-equipped, with therapeutic exercise equipment, treatment tables, and modalities to support comprehensive rehabilitation plans. In this role, the Physical Therapist will be responsible for performing comprehensive evaluations, establishing individualized plans of care, and progressing patients toward functional goals. A typical day includes new patient evaluations, follow-up treatment sessions, patient education, and coordination with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The caseload is primarily adult outpatient with opportunities to work with adolescents and active older adults, depending on clinic needs and therapist interests. Patient volume is structured to support one-on-one treatment time and consistent follow-through on care plans. Therapists work closely with support staff to manage schedules, assist with treatment area preparation, and maintain a smooth clinic flow. Documentation is completed in an electronic medical record system, with an emphasis on accurate, timely, and outcomes-focused charting. Shifts generally occur during standard outpatient hours, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility for early or later appointments depending on clinic demand. This schedule supports strong work-life integration, giving you time to enjoy the nearby parks, local community events, and the broader attractions of the Philadelphia region. The clinic promotes a supportive and collaborative culture where therapists can share knowledge, participate in mentorship, and develop clinical strengths.
