Job Description
Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract A fantastic opportunity is available for a passionate Physical Therapist (PT) to make a difference in the lives of K-12 students throughout the current school year. This full-time contract role is based near Philadelphia, providing essential physical therapy support within a collaborative and student-focused educational environment. You'll utilize your expertise to enhance mobility, strength, and independence for students, working closely with educators and families to ensure therapy goals are integrated seamlessly into each child's learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments and design individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Provide both direct and consultative interventions to support functional improvements and maximize classroom participation Work collaboratively with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary school teams to align therapy with educational objectives Track and document student progress, adapting interventions as necessary to achieve positive outcomesQualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license, or eligibility for licensure underway Pediatric and/or school-based experience is preferred Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff This position offers a highly competitive hourly compensation ranging from $53 to $65 for experienced Physical Therapists, especially those with IEP experience.
