Physical Therapist

Austill's Educational Therapy Services , the leading provider of school-based related services in southeastern PA, seeks a Physical Therapist to work 5 days/week (part-time options considered). This flexible caseload includes treating and supervising a PTA for 2 days/week with school-age students in Ridley Park, PA and 3 days/week treating preschool students near Aston, PA. This will continue through the summer/ESY session and into the next school year! Enjoy a flexible, rewarding position that offers work-life balance! Pediatric experience is a plus, and strong mentorship for those new to school-based practice!

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12 Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation. Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, and yearly IEP revisions, including updated goals and treatment strategies. Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended. Some travel may be required throughout the school day

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Physical Therapist Assistant educational program. Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant Indirect License Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn and grow
