Job DescriptionElite Spine and Sports Physical Therapy has an opportunity for an energetic and customer-focused Physical Therapist for our Wilkes-Barre clinic. 
What You'll Do:
Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation resultsReview the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment requiredProvide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelinesDocument findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregiversResponsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation techniciansComplete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goalsImplement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatmentsCommunicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companiesEnsure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reportsQualificationsGraduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy programCurrent state of Pennsylvania license, CPR certificationExercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skillsOutgoing and energetic personalityNew graduates welcome to applyAdditional InformationCompetitive salary ($82,000+ dependent upon experience and specialties)Bonus structure that pays every payrollExcellent benefits package including 401k, health (BlueCross/BlueShield) choice of 4 plans, dental, vision, paid LTD and life insurance, HSA, generous paid time off, and moreContinuing education reimbursement Training and supportMultiple opportunities for professional development, specialization, and leadershipClinic mentorshipEmployee discount plansEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Family-friendly work environmentInvestment from a company that wants you to succeed and thrive
