The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of physiotherapy principles and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing effective treatment strategies across various settings including inpatient, outpatient, home health, and community care environments. This role offers flexibility while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality rehabilitative services to diverse patient populations. Duties Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, utilizing knowledge of physiology and anatomy to inform treatment approaches. Develop and implement personalized care plans aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring function across various age groups and medical conditions. Administer therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics care, and pediatric physiotherapy to promote recovery. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless continuity of care in hospital, outpatient, or home settings. Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document assessments, treatment progress, and patient outcomes accurately. Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention strategies, and home care routines to support ongoing recovery. Maintain current knowledge of medical terminology, clinical practices, and advancements in physiotherapy techniques to enhance patient care quality. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards while fostering a compassionate environment focused on optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist with relevant regional health authorities. Proven experience in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments with exposure to acute care and community-based services. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and therapeutic modalities including trigger point therapy and orthopedics. Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs across diverse populations such as pediatrics and geriatrics. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management purposes. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams, patients, and families. Prior experience in discharge planning, care coordination, and working within hospital or home & community care settings is highly desirable.
