Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract A position is available for a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide onsite therapeutic support in a school setting located in Georgetown, DE. This contract role involves working closely with a single 6th-grade student, following clear and established goals to support their physical development and educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver personalized physical therapy services to one 6th-grade student. Implement and follow clearly defined therapy goals established by the school team. Work onsite to ensure direct interaction and immediate response to the student's needs. Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and progress. Collaborate with educators and support staff to align therapy with the student's educational program.
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with relevant school-based experience. Ability to work onsite in Georgetown, DE. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with the student, educators, and family. Commitment to adhering to a schedule of up to 5 hours per week. Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school environment.
Contract Details:
Start date is anticipated for April 6, 2026, with some flexibility. Onsite presence is mandatory; remote work is not an option. Minimum work hours up to 5 hours weekly, tailored to the student's needs. This role offers a focused opportunity to make a meaningful impact on one student's educational and physical progress.
