Category Schools - PT - Telehealth Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in telehealth services for school-aged students. This summer contract position offers the chance to provide virtual therapy sessions to a homebound student, promoting mobility and physical development in a school setting.
Location:
Barnesville, GA (Virtual/Remote)
Contract Length:
June 1st - July 16th
Schedule:
Three 15-minute sessions per week
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services remotely to a homebound student through telehealth platforms Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the student's needs Collaborate with school staff and caregivers to support student progress and adjust therapy interventions as appropriate Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies and professional standards
Desired Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based therapy Proficient in providing telehealth services and comfortable with virtual communication platforms Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy principles and interventions Ability to engage and motivate young students in a virtual environment Effective communication skills for working with students, families, and educational staff
