  • 6:00 PM Job Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation assignment in Hyannis, Massachusetts.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about helping adult and pediatric patients restore mobility, improve function, and enhance quality of life in a collaborative healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients and establish measurable treatment goals and individualized care plans. Perform diagnostic assessments related to muscle strength, joint mobility, nerve function, and overall functional ability. Administer evidence-based physical therapy treatments and modify care plans based on patient progress. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including patient progress notes and family education. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams regarding patient care and discharge planning. Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and continuation of care. Provide guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and students as needed. Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards. Attend required meetings and continuing education programs. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license. Current BLS certification. Strong communication and patient care skills. Previous inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications Specialist Certification documentation. Experience serving as a clinical resource and assisting with specialty program development and supervision.
