Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into an engaging contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist supporting students throughout the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position working with a diverse K-12 caseload. You'll become a vital part of the educational experience for students, collaborating with educators to foster growth and independence across multiple grade levels.
Desired Qualifications:
Current South Carolina PT license (required) Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is preferred Ability to adapt treatment plans for a variety of student needs, spanning kindergarten through high school Effective communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families Strong organizational skills and a passion for making a positive impact
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to students, evaluating needs and developing individualized treatment plans Maintain documentation in accordance with state and district policies Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on individualized education programs and goals Employ creative therapeutic interventions to address student mobility, accessibility, and functional independence in the school environment Provide training and support to educational staff and caregivers to ensure carryover of activities This contract offers the chance to enjoy the rewards of working closely with students and educators in a supportive atmosphere.
