Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Contract Advance your therapy career in a hospital setting where excellence in patient care and a collaborative environment are valued. This contract opportunity requires an experienced Physical Therapy professional dedicated to supporting patients' recovery and functional independence through specialized therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold exceptional standards in interactions with patients, visitors, and colleagues. Assess patients by collecting detailed histories, conducting physical examinations, and reviewing diagnostic findings to determine individual therapy needs. Develop and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to each patient's age and holistic requirements. Deliver effective interventions in alignment with physician directives and established standards of care. Ensure patient safety by using proper health and safety equipment and protocols at all times. Conduct regular patient rounds to address needs proactively, promoting satisfaction and comfort. Foster a caring and respectful atmosphere for all patients and their families throughout the care continuum. Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams, providing support for procedures related to central lines, catheters, and specialized equipment as applicable. Assist in department operations, stepping into leadership responsibilities as needed and serving as a mentor for new staff. Champion growth within the department through hospital initiatives and evidence-based practice development. Pursue ongoing professional development by setting personal goals and engaging in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
Valid credentials and licensure as a Physical Therapist. Experience in acute care or hospital-based therapy strongly preferred. Strong commitment to service excellence and patient-centric care. Skilled in interdisciplinary collaboration and effective communication. Demonstrated leadership abilities or interest in preceptorship.
