Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Physical Therapist to provide dedicated services in a school-based environment near Latta, SC. Bring your expertise and passion for pediatric care to support students' mobility and physical development, working closely with a collaborative educational team. This position is uniquely structured for one direct service day per week, totaling approximately 27 hours per month.
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years' experience practicing as a Physical Therapist Master's degree in Physical Therapy or higher required Proven background working with pediatric populations Prior experience delivering therapy in a school setting Familiarity and expertise with the EDPlan SC IEP program Strong assessment, evaluation, and documentation skills Flexible and adaptable to varying needs and schedules
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct physical therapy services to students one day each week Conduct comprehensive evaluations and reevaluations to monitor progress Complete and maintain accurate IEP documentation and related paperwork Actively participate in IEP meetings as a vital team member, sharing insights to guide student care plans Communicate effectively with school staff, administrators, and families Utilize clinical expertise to empower students, helping them reach their fullest potential What to
