Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity delivering physical therapy services to students for one day a week at a welcoming school near Nichols, SC. This position offers a manageable monthly commitment—approximately 27 hours—while allowing you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and collaborate with a dedicated educational team. As an experienced professional, you'll provide direct therapy interventions, lead comprehensive evaluations and reevaluations, and play an integral role in developing and implementing IEPs to support students' success. Your knowledge and skills will help shape positive outcomes within the school community. What we're seeking: Licensed Physical Therapist with at least 10 years of professional experience Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy (required) Demonstrated pediatric care expertise Seasoned background in school-based therapy services Proficiency with the EDPlan SC IEP program Ability to complete IEP documentation, conduct evaluations, and facilitate productive IEP meetings Key responsibilities: Provide direct physical therapy interventions to students (one day per week) Perform initial assessments and periodic reevaluations Develop, update, and document treatment plans aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams Maintain thorough and timely documentation using EDPlan SC IEP software This role offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $40-50 per hour, reflecting your extensive expertise and commitment.
