Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Exciting opportunities await for enthusiastic physical therapy professionals eager to make a meaningful impact in a healthcare setting. This contract role offers the chance to provide patient-centered therapy services within a supportive hospital environment. The assignment spans 13 weeks, with a guarantee of 36 hours per week, ensuring stability and consistency throughout your placement.
Schedule/Hours:
36 hours per week guaranteed
Key Qualifications:
Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or eligibility to obtain Previous experience in a hospital or similar healthcare setting preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills within interdisciplinary teams Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a commitment to exceptional patient care CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in the implementation of therapy plans to improve patient mobility, strength, and overall function Educate patients and families about treatment protocols, safe practices, and home exercise programs Document patient progress promptly, maintaining accurate clinical records in accordance with regulations and facility policies Collaborate with nursing, medical, and support staff to optimize care delivery and achieve rehabilitative goals for each patient Uphold safety protocols and infection prevention measures within all clinical activities
