Job Description

Company Overview Tennessee Educational Cooperative (TEC) is a public nonprofit agency dedicated to enhancing educational services across East Tennessee. Governed by a board of directors from local school systems, TEC fosters collaboration to meet the diverse needs of students and schools in the region. Summary We are seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join our team. This role is essential in providing therapeutic services to students, helping them achieve their physical goals and improve their overall well-being. The position will focus on delivering high-quality care within educational settings. Responsibilities Evaluate and assess students' physical therapy needs through comprehensive examinations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student goals. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function. Collaborate with educators and other healthcare professionals to support student success. Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate students, families, and staff on physical therapy practices and injury prevention. Requirements Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Tennessee. Strong knowledge pediatrics. Experience in patient care within the educational settings is preferred. Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual student needs. Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families, and staff.
