Position summary ize, and implement physical therapy treatment programs in a developmentally appropriate manner for our pediatric patients facing various issues and conditions affecting their upper extremities. The physical therapist will deliver competent and skilled care tailored to the needs of patients and their families. Emphasis will be placed on maintaining good customer relations, exercising sound clinical judgment, making appropriate decisions, and adopting a team-oriented approach grounded in evidence-based practice. The therapist will monitor patient responses to treatment, recommend complex and customized adaptive equipment as needed, and provide clinical support and expertise to specialty programs. Interaction and participation with staff, student development, and the advancement of clinical competency programs are expected to better serve our patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Texas state license for Physical Therapy or licensure eligible. Adolescent and sports training preferred. Upper Extremity, Motion Analysis or Motion Capture preferred. BLS certification within 30 days of employment required.
