Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role providing physical therapy services within a dynamic school environment near Arlington, TX. As a contract Physical Therapist, you'll support students in achieving their physical potential, collaborating with educational teams and families to create an inclusive atmosphere focused on growth and well-being.
Qualifications & Required Experience:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Current, valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in Texas Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred Comprehensive understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' motor skills, mobility, and functional capabilities Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update IEPs Deliver direct therapy services and oversee consultative interventions Educate teachers, families, and classroom staff about facilitating student independence and access to school activities Maintain thorough documentation and timely progress reporting Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student support planning Adapt and recommend assistive devices or environmental modifications when needed Working as a contract physical therapist in Everman, TX, offers a chance to make a significant impact on young learners while enjoying a flexible assignment in a supportive setting.
