With a full-time travel placement, this role guarantees the rewarding experience of treating both orthopedic and select neurological cases in a hospital atmosphere. Therapists conduct primarily one-on-one care (one patient every 45 minutes), providing dedicated attention and fostering excellent patient outcomes. When you're not working, take time to explore Canton's outdoor activities, local dining, and renowned markets—making every week an adventure both on and off the clock.
Schedule:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday Early close on Fridays (complete extra hour Monday-Thursday)
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate preferred Active LPT license in the state of Texas (or compact equivalent) Current BLS certification (AHA only)
Key Responsibilities:
Thoroughly assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to assigned patients Gather pertinent clinical information and collaborate with the medical care team Recognize evolving patient needs and execute sound clinical judgment in ongoing care Set, track, and reassess measurable and achievable patient goals Educate patients and families on therapy equipment and home exercises
