We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to manage evaluations and treatments when census fluctuates or primary staff is off. This role is designed for a clinician who prefers a high-signal environment where clinical decisions are made at the bedside and the equipment is modern and functional.

Pay & Schedule PRN Pay :

Starting at $52 per hour.

Schedule :

As needed; 8am-4pm or flexible hours for weekend evaluations. Qualifications Active Texas Physical Therapist license. CPR Certification. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. Previous experience in a skilled nursing environment is preferred. Skills Efficient clinical documentation. Ability to manage a diverse caseload. Professional communication with interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Conduct initial evaluations and develop treatment plans for short-stay residents. Supervise PTAs to ensure clinical interventions align with established goals. Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team for safe discharge planning. Adjust therapy plans based on objective patient progress. Utilize manual therapy, gait training, and therapeutic exercise. Education & Experience Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (DPT preferred). Experience with PointClickCare or similar EMR software is a plus. Atmosphere & Environment The facility features a large, dedicated rehab gym that serves as the hub for our short-term recovery wing. Unlike larger hospital systems, Lexington operates with a flat management structure, allowing for direct communication with the Director of Rehab and nursing leadership. We maintain a professional, low-noise environment where the focus remains on patient outcomes and efficient documentation.
