Qualifications and Experience:

Valid state license in Physical Therapy Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program Experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred Solid understanding of pediatric PT best practices Ability to craft effective treatment plans tailored to students' needs Strong communication and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Evaluate students to identify physical and motor skill challenges impacting educational participation Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student achievement Provide direct therapy services, model techniques, and offer training to staff where needed Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings Adapt approaches based on student progress and evolving needs
