Job Description
As a member of the health care team, evaluates and treats patients whose ability to function is impaired by disease or injury. Utilizes therapeutic exercise, rehabilitation procedures and physical agents within the scope of a licensed physical therapist. Collaborates with other hospital personnel to ensure quality care for the patient. May supervise the activities of PTA, Therapy Technicians and student interns. Education/Skills Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy Experience Graduate or experienced therapist Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications Must be licensed in the state of Texas as a physical therapist. American Heart Association BLS•within two (2) weeks of employment 5 Days•8
