Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a dedicated Physical Therapist, where your expertise will transform patient recovery journeys across diverse settings. In this vital role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized care plans that promote mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Whether working in inpatient hospital units, outpatient clinics, home health environments, or pediatric settings, you will be at the forefront of physiotherapy excellence. Duties Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions using detailed knowledge of anatomy and physiology to inform treatment strategies. Develop and implement tailored care plans that incorporate evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics. Assist patients in regaining movement and function through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities suited to their specific needs. Manage discharge planning processes to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home or community care settings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring treatment aligns with medical terminology standards and clinical protocols. Document patient progress accurately within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Provide specialized care for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and patients recovering from orthopedic or neurological conditions. Experience Proven experience in inpatient hospital environments with a strong understanding of acute care procedures and protocols. Demonstrated success in outpatient clinics or home & community care settings, showcasing adaptability across various patient populations. Hands-on experience with home health services, outpatient therapy programs, or hospital-based physiotherapy departments. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology essential for accurate assessment and treatment planning. Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient documentation and patient record management. Experience in discharge planning and creating comprehensive care plans that support patient independence post-treatment. Additional skills in trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, and pediatrics are highly valued to deliver specialized interventions.
