Physical Therapist (PT) |Kenedy TX Starting at $45/hour
Direct Hire Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Physical Therapist to join our team in a hospital-based outpatient setting. This position is primarily outpatient, with required inpatient coverage on Mondays and additional inpatient support as needed based on patient volume. The ideal candidate is compassionate, adaptable, and committed to providing high-quality, one-on-one care.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized physical therapy services in an outpatient setting
- Deliver one-on-one patient care focused on rehabilitation and functional improvement
- Assist with inpatient (swing bed/SNF) coverage on Mondays and as needed
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders
- Accurately document patient care using designated EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Work Environment:
- Hospital-based outpatient clinic
- Inpatient swing bed (SNF) unit with up to 24 beds
- One-on-one patient care model in outpatient setting
Qualifications:
- Active Texas Physical Therapist license required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
