Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for an acute care hospital assignment in Lubbock, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for therapists looking to work in a high-acuity hospital environment while maintaining a stable daytime schedule. Both experienced travelers and first-time travelers are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with acute medical, surgical, and post-trauma conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and establish rehabilitation goals. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care. Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and mobility techniques. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Work exclusively within the assigned acute care setting with no floating requirements. Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Texas Physical Therapist (PT) License . Minimum 1 year of Acute Care Hospital experience . Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
