Working here, you'll be exposed to rural and regional healthcare delivery, widening your expertise with diverse patient populations and new leadership perspectives. As a Physical Therapist, you'll handle a patient mix primarily consisting of orthopedic cases, with some neurologically involved clients. The unique 1:1 patient ratio—one client every 45 minutes—ensures you can focus on exceptional outcomes and genuinely impact lives. During early shifts on Fridays, you'll enjoy extra personal time, with flexibility to balance your hours Monday through Thursday, creating an ideal work-life blend for those craving both professional challenge and leisure discovery.
Schedule:
8AM - 5PM, Monday through Friday Early closure Fridays; additional hour made up
Monday-Thursday What You'll Do:
Assess patients independently and develop individualized plans of care. Gather and interpret data, collaborating with physicians and other care providers. Set and regularly update realistic, measurable therapeutic goals. Monitor patient progress, reassess as necessary, and adjust interventions accordingly. Educate patients and families; select and discuss appropriate therapy equipment. Maintain high practice standards in compliance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act.
Desired Qualifications:
Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; Bachelor's degree required. Current LPT license in Texas (or Compact License). Active BLS (AHA only).
