Qualifications & Skills:
Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Texas Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program Experience in a hospital environment strongly preferred Proficiency in assessing, planning, and carrying out individualized therapy regimens Knowledgeable in rehabilitation best practices and patient safety standards Comfortable working with interdisciplinary teams (nurses, physicians, social workers) Outstanding interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and develop patient-specific treatment plans aimed at optimizing mobility, strength, and function Deliver hands-on physical therapy interventions and monitor patient progress Collaborate with healthcare professionals and participate in multidisciplinary meetings Educate patients and caregivers on take-home exercises and post-discharge care Document all treatments, evaluations, and progress notes accurately and promptly Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
