Job Description

Physical Therapist (PT)

  • PRN Cheyenne Medical Lodge is currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist (PT).
The facility coordinates short-term rehabilitation and post-acute clinical care. We focus on caseload logistics, department workflow, and therapy room throughput. This role supports the core therapy staff during high-census windows. Same-day interview availability is accessible for qualified professionals arriving at the facility.
Pay & Schedule Pay Rate:
$52/hour.
Schedule:
PRN. Hours vary based on facility patient volume and clinical need. Responsibilities Evaluate patient functional mobility, safety, and physical limitations. Develop objective, milestone-driven physical therapy treatment plans. Deliver direct physical therapy interventions to restore patient independence. Document clinical progress daily inside the electronic medical record system. Coordinate patient care transitions with occupational and speech therapy teams. Establish safe discharge plans for post-acute short-term residents. Qualifications Valid Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license. Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university program. Clinical experience in post-acute care or skilled nursing facilities preferred. Must pass a criminal background check. Must be able to pass a drug screening.
