Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment; schedule provided by the facility upon assignment.
Key Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of Texas (or eligibility for Texas licensure) Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient therapy setting preferred Demonstrated clinical reasoning and evaluation skills Strong communication skills for patient and team interactions Commitment to professional codes of conduct and continuing education
Core Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive evaluation of assigned patients; develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients Ensure treatment programs focus on safe, functional patient outcomes and effective community reintegration Document medical records with clarity, accuracy, and timeliness, complying with all regulatory standards Educate patients, families, coworkers, and students; participate in the clinic's student program as assigned Exhibit standards of safety, appearance, attendance, and punctuality Proactively pursue continuing education and personal professional development Adhere to facility and state practice guidelines, keeping licensure and competencies current
