Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist, where you will play a vital role in improving patients' quality of life through specialized physiotherapy interventions. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will assess, treat, and develop personalized care plans for individuals experiencing pelvic floor dysfunctions across diverse settings. Your expertise will help empower patients to regain function, reduce discomfort, and achieve their health goals. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with pelvic floor disorders, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to identify underlying issues. Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate evidence-based physiotherapy techniques, including trigger point therapy and other manual therapies. Provide patient education on pelvic health, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term wellness and self-management. Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless continuity of care across inpatient, outpatient, home health, and community settings. Manage treatment sessions in various environments such as hospital inpatient units, outpatient clinics, or home health visits, adapting approaches to meet patient needs. Document patient progress accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and maintain detailed treatment records in compliance with healthcare standards. Stay current with advancements in orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and other relevant fields to enhance treatment efficacy and expand your expertise. Requirements Valid licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist with specialized training or certification in pelvic health physiotherapy. Demonstrated experience in pelvic floor PT settings Having taken at minimum Level 1 coursework Additional skills such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics expertise, or home & community care experience are highly valued.
