Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Experience the heart of southeast Texas in vibrant Vidor! As a traveling Physical Therapist, you'll work alongside diverse healthcare teams—gaining insight into varied workplace cultures, therapy methodologies, and leadership styles that will expand your expertise. Working in an outpatient hospital environment, you'll be at the forefront of patient-centered care. You'll contribute to designing innovative rehabilitation programs and provide mentorship to staff, students, and patients alike, strengthening your leadership and education skills. Your downtime offers the opportunity to explore East Texas woodlands, scenic rivers, and friendly communities, turning your assignment into a rewarding adventure.
Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment, schedule dependent on facility needs
Preferred Qualifications & Expertise:
Valid and current PT license in Texas (or eligibility) Experience in a hospital or outpatient environment preferred Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills Ability to educate and delegate to colleagues, students, and patients Adherence to all ethical, legal, and accreditation standards
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop/modulate treatment plans Coordinate and delegate therapy interventions, ensuring delivery of superior care Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with all regulations Foster safety for patients and colleagues, adhering to high standards of workplace and patient safety Participate in performance improvement initiatives and professional growth opportunities
