Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a full-time Physical Therapist, where your expertise will transform patient recovery and enhance quality of life. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive physiotherapy services across diverse settings, including inpatient hospital units, outpatient clinics, home health environments, and community care programs. Your passion for patient-centered care and your deep understanding of physiology and anatomy will drive personalized treatment plans that promote mobility, reduce pain, and foster independence. Duties Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations, utilizing your knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop tailored care plans. Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics-focused treatments, and geriatrics-specific approaches to optimize recovery outcomes. Manage discharge planning processes by coordinating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home or community settings. Provide specialized care for pediatric populations, addressing developmental needs with engaging and effective therapy strategies. Document patient progress meticulously using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring accurate tracking of treatment milestones and adjustments. Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention techniques, and home care routines to support ongoing recovery outside clinical settings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in inpatient, outpatient, hospital, home health, and clinic environments to deliver holistic patient care that aligns with best practices in physiotherapy. Experience Proven experience in acute care hospital settings with familiarity in inpatient treatment protocols. Demonstrated success in outpatient clinics or home & community care environments delivering patient-centered physiotherapy services. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate assessments and effective treatment planning. Prior work involving discharge planning and care coordination across diverse healthcare settings. Hands-on experience with EMR systems for documentation and patient record management. Background in pediatrics, orthopedics, geriatrics, or trigger point therapy preferred to enhance treatment versatility. Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and collaborate seamlessly with healthcare teams.
