School Physical Therapist

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a physical therapist with experience in both healthcare and school settings, based in West Jordan, UT. This contract position involves conducting a singular assessment for occupational therapy and physical therapy on two students. Following the assessment, there may be potential to contract for ongoing weekly services with one or two students, based on the assessment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive OT and PT assessments on two students to evaluate their needs. Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student requirements. Provide ongoing weekly therapy sessions for one or two students, contingent on assessment results. Collaborate with school staff and healthcare professionals to support student development. Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes in compliance with school guidelines.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based and healthcare settings. Ability to conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with school therapy protocols and regulatory requirements.
