School-Based Physical Therapist - West Valley City, UT

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct a thorough initial assessment for both Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physical Therapy (PT) on two students. Review and analyze assessment outcomes to determine appropriate intervention plans. Depending on assessment results, provide ongoing PT services to one or two students weekly. Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress. Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student goals and school requirements.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Physical Therapy license with credentials permitting practice in Utah. Experience in pediatric physical therapy within school and healthcare environments. Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and healthcare providers. Flexibility to adjust services based on student needs and assessment outcomes. Understanding of educational regulations and therapeutic practices in schools.
