PRN Mobile Physical Therapist Bal Therapy, LLC Alexandria, VA Job Details PRN | Per diem $68 - $78 an hour 10 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Teamwork Physical Therapy License Clinical documentation Adaptability Physical therapy Full Job Description PRN Physical Therapist Neurology Care Build a PRN Physical Therapy Role That Actually Uses Your Clinical Skillset This is a neurology-focused Physical Therapist position designed for clinicians who want to think critically, treat intentionally, and work with patients who genuinely need skilled care. You will work one-on-one with adults living with Parkinson's disease, dementia, and other neurological conditions where movement quality, balance, mobility, and independence directly impact daily life. Every session requires clinical reasoning. Every treatment requires adaptation. And every small improvement matters. If you are a Physical Therapist who enjoys solving movement problems, adjusting care in real time, and delivering highly skilled neurological treatment, this role gives you the opportunity to fully use your training. What You Get $68 to $78 per hour based on experience Flexible PRN scheduling built around your availability Consistent caseload instead of unpredictable coverage 5 to 15+ hours per week available One-on-one treatment model Neurology-focused patient population Clinically challenging work that keeps your skills sharp Structured treatment sessions with full patient focus Supportive interdisciplinary collaboration Opportunity to work with Parkinson's and dementia populations regularly Why This Role Feels Different Most PRN Physical Therapy roles feel disconnected. You bounce between clinics. Cover random schedules. Move quickly through visits. And spend more time managing logistics than actually treating patients. That is not how this clinic operates. Here, the expectation is quality over volume. You are given the time to evaluate thoroughly, adjust treatment appropriately, and provide highly skilled neurological care without feeling rushed. This role was built for PTs who want meaningful clinical work, not just extra hours. What You'll Treat You will work directly with adults diagnosed with: Parkinson's disease Alzheimer's disease Lewy Body dementia Frontotemporal dementia Balance and gait disorders Other neurological and neurodegenerative conditions This is a true neuro-focused caseload, not a general outpatient rotation. What Your Day Looks Like Perform detailed Physical Therapy evaluations Develop individualized neurological plans of care Deliver one-on-one treatment sessions Provide gait training and balance retraining Implement fall prevention strategies Deliver transfer and mobility training Modify interventions based on cognitive presentation Apply Parkinson's-specific treatment approaches Educate caregivers for improved carryover Document clearly and efficiently Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers to support outcomes Who Thrives Here This role is ideal for Physical Therapists who enjoy complex clinical problem-solving and patient-centered neurological care.
