Job Description

Inova Physical Therapy - Ballston is looking for an outpatient Physical Therapist to join our outstanding team. This position is PRN or as needed for intermittent coverage needs. Clinic Hours are Monday-Thursday from 7:00am -7:00p, Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm. Job Responsibilities:
Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols. Performs re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly. Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Gives appropriate instruction and supervision to assistive personnel consistent with program/clinic policies and regulatory requirements. Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in
Physical Therapy Licensure:
Physical Therapist upon start (VA licensure or compact privileges are acceptable)
Certification:
BLS through the American Heart Association upon start
Preferred Qualification:
Physical Therapist (PT) experience
