PRN Physical Therapist Bath Community Hospital is a patient-focused small hospital in rural Virginia that offers excellent working conditions, a team environment, and opportunities for professional development. BCH is currently in search of a qualified Physical Therapist on a PRN basis. The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing, and administering of physical therapy modalities of treatment

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities Delivery of services in a variety of settings; out patient clinic, hospital acute care inpatients, and hospital skilled nursing bed Effectively encourages patient, family and staff to participate in treatment program Accurately trains patient, family and staff according to the level of the learner using appropriate modalities

REQUIREMENTS

Graduate from an approved school of Physical Therapy (required) Current Physical Therapy licensure in the State of Virginia (required) BLS (required) but can be obtained after hire
