Job Description

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Lynchburg, VA where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. and we'll connect you with a recruiter who'll reach out with more details. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Virginia physical therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Outpatient orthopedics experience preferred. Must not be a PTA; position requires a licensed PT. First-time travelers accepted. New graduates not accepted. Experience meeting productivity expectations in outpatient settings preferred (approximately 60 visits/week; ability to manage 12-14 patients/day and follow-up double-booking). Ability to obtain any facility-specific approvals for overtime as required. Preferred Qualifications Prior outpatient clinic experience treating orthopedic patient populations. Comfort working with productivity targets and variable daily patient volume.
Assignment Details Shift:
Days. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with expectation to work up to 40 hours. Float to other clinics is not required.
Productivity expectation:
approximately 60 visits per week; typically 12-14 patients per day with follow-up double-booking expected. and you will be contacted by a recruiter who will give you more information.
