Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic and impactful physical therapy role within a hospital environment, facilitating comprehensive care for patients in need of rehabilitation and mobility support. This contract position is ideal for a compassionate, dedicated physical therapist seeking to make a positive difference in acute care settings.
Schedule/Hours:
Flexible shift scheduling based on hospital needs
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Degree from an accredited physical therapy program Prior hospital-based experience as a Physical Therapist preferred Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills Excellent communication and collaborative abilities Knowledge of evidence-based PT modalities and rehabilitation protocols
Responsibilities:
Deliver expert physical therapy services to patients experiencing a range of conditions, including post-surgical, neurological, and orthopedic diagnoses Develop individualized care plans by evaluating patient needs and treatment goals Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and discharge planning Accurately document treatment interventions and patient progress in compliance with hospital policies Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility techniques, and ongoing self-care strategies Maintain professional standards, adhering to hospital guidelines and current best practices
