The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiotherapy principles, with a focus on delivering comprehensive patient care across diverse settings. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in developing personalized care plans, facilitating recovery, and improving patients' quality of life through expert therapeutic interventions. This position offers an opportunity to work in inpatient hospital environments, outpatient clinics, home health, and community care settings, utilizing your physiology and anatomy knowledge to make a meaningful impact. Duties Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations, including mobility, strength, and functional capacity. Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate evidence-based physiotherapy techniques tailored to each patient's needs. Perform therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and exercise programs aimed at pain relief and functional improvement. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless patient transitions across care settings. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and home care strategies to promote ongoing recovery. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress using electronic medical records (EMR) systems while adhering to confidentiality standards. Stay current with advancements in orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and other specialized areas to enhance treatment efficacy. Provide guidance on physiotherapy best practices within acute care, outpatient clinics, and home & community care environments. Requirements Valid licensure or registration as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of physiology and human anatomy to inform effective treatment strategies. Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical documentation standards. Experience with EMR systems for efficient patient record management. Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive care plans that include discharge planning and follow-up procedures. Expertise in various physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation. Excellent communication skills for engaging with patients of all ages—including pediatrics and geriatrics—and collaborating with healthcare teams. Knowledge of home & community care practices to support patient independence post-discharge.
